Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 1, 2026

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, password or login method, workspace details, billing details, signatures, connected account settings, campaign content, uploaded lead files, prompts, and support communications. We also collect service data created through your use of Muntu, such as campaign drafts, outreach content, reply drafts, inbox metadata, delivery events, analytics, domain and sender verification records, webhook activity, logs, and usage data.

2. Connected Accounts and Message Data

If you connect an inbox, calendar, domain, sender account, or other third-party integration, we may receive account identifiers, metadata, message content, reply content, headers, delivery events, DNS status, and provider-side identifiers needed to operate the service. We use that information to sync mailboxes, display threads, draft and send messages, route replies, classify responses, verify domains, track campaign performance, and secure the platform.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to provide, maintain, secure, bill for, and improve Muntu; create and manage workspaces; authenticate users; connect inboxes and providers; draft and send outreach; process replies; run analytics; enforce plan limits, guardrails, and policies; provide customer support; investigate abuse or fraud; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

4. AI Processing

Some features use AI models and automation providers to generate message drafts, summarize or classify replies, enrich workflows, and support operational features. Information you submit to those features may be processed by third-party AI providers acting on our behalf. We use reasonable controls to limit exposure, but AI outputs may be imperfect and should be reviewed where appropriate.

5. Cookies, Sessions, and Device Data

We use cookies, session tokens, and similar technical mechanisms for authentication, security, session continuity, and core application behavior. We also collect limited device, browser, and request metadata such as IP address, user agent, timestamps, origin information, and event logs for security, fraud prevention, debugging, and operational analytics.

6. How We Share Information

We share information with service providers and subprocessors that help us operate Muntu, such as infrastructure, hosting, billing, email, AI, authentication, and integration providers. Depending on the features you use, those providers may include AWS, Stripe, Autumn, Resend, MailerSend, AgentMail, Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, Zoho, and AI model providers. We may also share information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, in connection with a business transaction, or at your direction.

7. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security and records, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and support legitimate business operations. Retention periods vary by data type, workspace configuration, legal obligation, and provider requirements.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information, including access controls, encryption in transit where available, secret management, logging, and provider-side security controls. No method of transmission, storage, or processing is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Choices and Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or limit the use of your personal information. You may also manage certain account, billing, signature, workspace, and privacy preferences from within the application. To make a privacy request, contact us using the address below.

10. International Processing

Muntu and its service providers may process information in the United States and other jurisdictions where we or our providers operate. By using the service, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may have data protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date on this page. Your continued use of Muntu after the effective date of the updated policy means the revised policy will apply going forward.
